# Meet team Brink: Alicia Nordström

We managed to catch up with Alicia Nordström, our junior developer to ask her about what she feels about working at Brink Commerce. Alicia is part of the front-end team based in our Stockholm HQ. ## Why did you join Brink Commerce?

It was the combination of programming and being creative that caught my attention. I have always loved to create and design, therefore; I knew right from the start that this was where I wanted to be. To be a part of such an amazing team is truly a blessing.

## How do you achieve success in your role?

It is a mix of team effort and individual responsibility. My team has helped me evolve by creating a supportive environment where one is comfortable asking as many questions as needed to solve a problem. With the team's help, together with a will of learning, it is impossible not to evolve.

## What do you love most about what you do?

Besides being creative on a daily basis, it is my colleagues that make every day exciting. I love working with fun, positive and ambitious people, who inspire me to keep learning. Even though my assignments are already fun and exciting, they make it even better.

## Tell us a surprising or fun fact about yourself.

One of my favorite things to do in my free time is painting really big paintings. The largest ones I have done so far are 1.1m x 1.4m and I hope to go even bigger in the future.
